Miss Havisham....

It has taken me awhile to get this up, but here is my theme makeup look for Miss Havisham

 

 "She was dressed in rich materials- satins, and lace, and silks- all of white. And she had a long white veil dependent from her hair, and she had bridal flowers in her hair, but her hair was white. Some bright jewels sparkled on her neck and on her hands, and some other jewels lay sparkling on the table...She had not quite finished dressing, for she had but one shoe on...her veil was but half arranged, her watch and chain were not put on, and some lace for her bosom lay with those trinkets, and with her handkerchief, and gloves, and some flowers, and a prayer-book, all confusedly heaped about the looking glass...I saw that everything within my view which ought to be white, had been white long ago, and had lost its lustre, and was faded and yellow. Makeup Challenge, Day 1

I have started a new makeup challenge on Instagram, and I did the first look today.

I call it Fairy or Fairie if you prefer :)

Just starting!

 First I applied foundation, blush & bronzer and Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer in Sin to give it a glowing look.

Next came eyeshadow! I used all Urban Decay shadows,

Deep End, Freakshow, Sellout, Shattered, Madness, and Shellshock.

 

Then I added Jordana liquid eyeliner in Paradise Beauty,

Ulta gel eyeliner in Silver Dust 

and Wet'n'wild liquid eyeliner in Indigo Blue.

My lipstick is NYX Macaroon Lippie in Blue Velvet with eyeshadow patted around the outside.

 Two coats of Maybelline Mega Plush mascara and we are done!

The Great Love of My Life

Hello Friends!

Have you noticed how there are things that make a house a home?

We have a nice apartment, furniture, things and the useful items that aid our daily lives. But the things that make a house a home are usually not things...

It's the people that we care about.

And for me that is my darling Husband. 

He is the one that makes where I am home, and the one that I want to have beside me for the rest of my life.

 

 "The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed."

So I am learning to be a good wife, a Keeper at Home. 

 And can I say, it is the greatest adventure of my life!

St. Patrick's Day and beyond!

Hello!

I know this is a few days late, 

but the week has somehow gotten away from me!

For St. Patrick's Day I had acquired some Celtic Women tickets!

And having a handsome man to accompany me, we decided to dress up a bit.
